A hot summer night at the London Stadium produced a legendary performance from the iconic British band, Iron Maiden. The stadium was packed, and the crowd was in ecstasy.

The local area was the home to Iron Maiden’s bassist Steve Harris. The stadium is the new(ish) base of West Ham United (nicknamed The Hammers or the Irons). This is where Colligo comes in, as West Ham have representation in both the Premier League and Women’s Super League. West Ham have a long tradition in the men’s game, with strong representation in England’s 1966 World Cup winning team. The late Sir Bobby Moore is a football global figure alongside greats such as Pele and Beckenbauer.
The women’s team as it stands today, were formed in 1991. There was a small representation in the 1970s known as West Ham Ladies, but not in its current structure.
Both teams have strong line-ups, that should have performed better than they did in the 2024/25 season. Despite this the men can boast they finished above Manchester United and Spurs. Wet Ham finished 9th in the Colligo standings, which is actually higher than a much stronger Spurs side.
Let’s see how they do in the 2024/25 season. For now, let’s celebrate the fans on the pitch!

And a quick shout out to an excellent support performance from Halestorm, the American rock band fronted by female singer Lzzy Hale.
