Following an excellent weekend for both the men’s and women’s teams, Brighton have taken top spot in the Colligo League. Danny Welbeck threw back the years with a brace to beat Chelsea away. His second came in the last minute to raise further problems for Chelsea men. Chelsea retained some credibility with the women thrashing West Ham 4-0, but they still lie fourth in the Colligo table.

Elsewhere Man Utd ladies convincingly beat Liverpool, but it seems they won’t get much help from the male team who are in crisis at the moment. The men’s team will not play again until October 19th, where they could face a manager defining moment vs Liverpool.
We shall see!
