However, the women’s team had to fight harder against a resilient Everton team with Vivianne Miedema opening the scoring. Bunny Shaw got the second after a Kelly Gago equalizer.

City were capable of taking the top as Manchester United’s women lost for the first time this season to Aston Villa and the men’s team only drawing 2-2 with Spurs. Arsenal and Chelsea ladies achieved a 1-1 stalemate. However, City have played three games more ahead of Chelsea, so will Chelsea manage to claw back top spot?
