An uncharacteristic draw by Chelsea helped Manchester City extend their lead at the top of the Colligo table by seven points.Liverpool managed to frustrate Chelsea when Beata Olsson equalized Chelsea’s opener from Alyssa Thompson. Liverpool have been in poor form with this only being the women’s second point this season.

City’s women took advantege of a tired United team by thrashing them 3-0. It is clear the Champions League is taking a toll on United’s lack of depth in their squad. Lauren Hemp scored the best of the three, rifling into United’s top corner as United failed to close her down.

Arsenal failed to capitlize only drawing 0-0 with Spurs in the North London derby. A mention to West Ham’s women as they got their first points of the season beating Everton 3-1.
