A shock victory by Everton ladies over Chelsea gives Manchester City the edge at the top of the Colligo table.  Honoka Hayashi 12th minute strike gave the Toffee a lead which they had to defend with backs to their goal for most of the match. Chelsea pressed until the very last minute and Everton had to make a goal line clearance deep in stoppage timr. This was Chelsea’s first defeat in the WSL since 2024.

Everton themselves remain third from bottom with Liverpool hot on their heels.
